Rachael Gallagher has been with the Conservatory since 2009 fulfilling many roles including Registrar, Program Director, Instructor and Associate Director.  As an integral leader during her tenure, her role as Executive Director will continue to foster her deep commitment to the institution and will bring new inspiration and direction moving forward.   Gallagher holds a BFA in Arts Management from Point Park College in Pittsburgh, and an MS in Nonprofit Management from The New School in New York City.  She has a strong foundation rooted in dance and theatre.  Before coming to The Conservatory, Gallagher served six years as the Administrative Manager at Young Audiences New York, the city's largest nonprofit arts education provider. In the Philadelphia region, Gallagher has worked with Montgomery Theatre, The Wilma Theatre and People's Light & Theatre Company.  She is the creator of Montgomery Theatre's children's theatre program, The Young Actors Workshop, which provides drama classes and performance opportunities for local children.  Her graduate work consisted of examining education policy and social reform in South Africa, which included a dance and visual art exchange at the Nellmapius Middle School in Petoria.  She also conducted a successful fundraiser to help supply the school with much needed art supplies and books.  Gallagher is an active member of DCP Theatre (Telford, PA), where she served for three years on the Board of Directors.
