Audition Requirements:

All students auditioning must be registered for private lessons or a group ensemble at The Conservatory.

Repertoire Selection:

There is no theme for the concert and all genres and styles of music are encouraged! The repertoire maximum is 8 minutes. Auditioning with multiple pieces or groups/ensembles does not guarantee a performance space or that all pieces will be selected.

Memorized music is highly encouraged for vocal, piano and solo instrumentalist. Performers who use music must use the original music. No photo copies are permitted per the Kimmel Center.

Accompanist:

For students who need an accompanist, Betsy Young will be available for a rehearsal and the audition. Betsy will contact the families to schedule a rehearsal. The accompanist can use a photo copy of the accompaniment for the performance.

Audition Sign-up Deadline:

-Students requesting an accompanist must register by Saturday, January 19th. Sheet music for the accompanist MUST be turned into the front desk before an audition time will be scheduled!
