Clay Hand and Wheel
Instructor: Kris Sinisi
Ages: 10 – 15yrs
Fee: $185.00
Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Day:  8 Thursdays  9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2 & 11/9 

  • Students learn the beauty of clay through various projects ranging from functional pottery to decorative art and sculpture.  They will get to experience the potter’s wheel while exploring form, texture and glazing.  All clay materials and firings included.

 
Pottery Wheel Coaching (Please Call To Enroll)

Time: 7:30pm – 8:15pm

 2 Sessions Available:

  • 9/28, 10/5 & 10/12
  • 10/19, 10/26 & 11/2

  • Take the extra time for a personal hands-on experience to help enhance your basic throwing skills and techniques. Workshop includes clay, firings, and glazing. Only 2 students per session will be admitted into the workshop and students must be enrolled in the Clay, Hand and Wheel class.  


Mixed Media Drawing - Wednesdays

  • Mixed media drawing is a visual art form that combines a variety of materials in a single artwork. This combination may include pencil, paint, ink, pastel, collage and found objects. Basic drawing skills will be taught while experimenting with this fun technique. This is a great class to expand skills, take risks and produce Art in new creative ways. All art materials provided.

Little Art Works: Awesome Autumn

  • This is a great art class for budding artists who show an interest in all things art.  This fun and engaging class is designed to introduce students to a range of skills and art making materials.  Each day is a new creative experience focused on all things autumn from colorful trees, apples, pumpkins and scarecrows.  What can we say autumn is awesome!  All materials included.

Landscape Painting Class  
Instructor: Jas Szygiel
Fee: $200.00 per session
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm 

  • Bring your own paints, brushes and canvases and jump into the fantastic world of landscape painting.  This class is designed to address each student at their individual ability level and provides a unique and personal approach to painting. The class will reinforce painting, color and composition fundamentals with an emphasis on exploring different approaches to broaden your artistic vision. Work side by side with fellow artists and participate in group critiques in a friendly atmosphere.

Drawing for Adult Beginners

  •  Anyone can learn to draw- it's all about practice, overcoming fears and building confidence. In this class we will balance fun with technique building exercises and developing drawing skills. Students will follow step by step procedures through creative and fun drawing activities. The class will cover fundamentals of drawing including use of various materials and subject matter. Visual components of line, color, shape, form, value and texture will be explored. Pencil, charcoal, ink and pastel will be used to create still life, portraiture and landscape. Learning to draw will change how we look at the world while having fun in the process. Everyone is encouraged to explore their imagination and enhance their skills in our positive and creative atmosphere.  Students purchase their own supplies – list will be emailed.
