The Conservatory hires qualified, experienced, part-time private music lesson teachers who are comfortable teaching in-person and in a virtual, video setting. The Conservatory provides a beautiful learning environment that is home to 25 studios with pianos and a 100 seat performance hall. We value excellence in music education for every age and skill level. We look for excellent qualifications in our faculty:

  • Inspiring students to help them achieve their highest aspirations

  • Communicating effectively and maintain great relationships with staff, colleagues, parents and students

  • Reliability is extremely important

  • Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson

  • Demonstrates fun, creativity and flexibility in teaching to meet the needs of each unique student

  • Comfortable working with on-line scheduling systems

  • Enjoys working in a school environment and believes in team building

  • Possesses all clearances (FBI, State Police and Child Abuse) 

 

All Faculty members are part-time independent contractors. Lessons are taught mostly in the after-school hours. Pay rates are based on experience and education.
