Group Music Lessons
Learning music in a group setting can be motivating and fun for young or beginner students. Group classes provide an opportunity to try out an instrument and learn about basic musical concepts before starting private lessons.
Due to COVID-19, please check back at a later time when we can safely open for group classes again.
Jazz Performance Program
Given the circumstances surrounding the pandemic, we understand some families are not ready to return to in-person classes. Therefore, we have created three different enrollment options that students can choose from, based upon their individual needs. Don’t miss out on this unique Ensemble program that is open to all instruments, including non-traditional jazz instruments.
The Conservatory’s Piano Certificate Assessment Program is an excellent goal setting program for Piano students to gauge their learning progress. This is a non-competitive performance evaluation held each spring. It is open to all piano students but it is not a required program.
The Conservatory reopened our building for in-person lessons under a Hybrid model for September 2020--January 2021. A new Hybrid plan has been released for February through June of 2021. We have planned our school year calendar around Holidays and intend to offer Virtual learning weeks after major Holidays due to the high likelihood that people will gather over the holiday and Covid cases may subsequently rise. Some instructors have opted to remain fully virtual and families are able to request to remain fully virtual as well. Please call 215.340.7979 to discuss all options with a Conservatory Staff Member.
Tuition Assistance Program
The Conservatory’s Tuition Assistance Program creates access to music and arts education. Grants are based on a family’s demonstrated need and do not need to be repaid. All applicants must be prepared to submit their most recent IRS 1040 along with their application. An application must be submitted each year. Funds are limited and awarded on a first come, first served basis. Assistance awards are applied to Private Lessons or Music Therapy only and not to group classes, trial lessons, workshops, or summer camps.
