Adam is a professional performer and freelance Philadelphia based musician. Adam graduated from The University of the Arts with a Bachelor degree in Instrumental Performance. While there, Adam was honored to receive multiple awards and scholarships for his proficiency as a drummer. He has been teaching and performing in local rock, jazz, big band and classical/orchestral bands since 2013. Adam has experience as a private instructor for Drums, Percussion, Beginning Guitar and Bass Guitar students. He has also directed small groups, student bands and ensembles. Adam is an ardent supporter of music education and he seeks to coach and mentor his students to successfully pursue their musical goals. He encourages his students to explore a wide variety of musical repertoire while discovering their unique interests and abilities. Adam strives to create an environment of ongoing music appreciation and expression.
Tucker is a Philadelphia based drummer, composer, and educator with nearly 10 years of professional experience. He has a BM in Jazz Studies Performance from Bowling Green State University. Tucker has studied with Dr. Roger Schupp of BGSU, Dr. Olman Piedra of University of Toledo, Dr. Dan Piccolo of BGSU, and Carter McClean, drummer for Lion King on Broadway. Tucker has performed in Cleveland, Columbus, Philadelphia, and New York City in venues from the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame to off Broadway theatres and everything in between. As an educator, Tucker has worked with high school drumlines, jazz bands, and many private students over the years. Tucker enjoys teaching a wide variety of percussion instruments and has experience with instruments from many different cultures and countries, including the cajón. Tucker uses Gretsch Drums, Promark sticks, and Zildjian cymbals. He enjoys working with students of all ages and skill levels at The Conservatory.
Adam is an established and well-rounded drummer/percussionist. He has been playing and performing for nearly 20 years. From Langhorne Pennsylvania, Adam studied music at Bucks County Community College and achieved his Associates Degree in Music while attending. He also earned his Bachelors of Music at West Chester University. During his time at BCCC and West Chester University, he played in many jazz ensembles, jazz trios and percussion ensembles. He also played for the West Chester University orchestra, concert band and marching band. Adam has been in seven different bands throughout his career and has played many different styles such as rock, jazz, folk, progressive rock, alternative rock, punk, etc. He has had the privilege of studying with David Nelson of the Philadelphia Orchestra at WCU and the late great, Joe Morello. He is currently performing with two local Philadelphia bands known as The Zeke Sky Band and Think Pink Floyd. While touring and performing with these bands, he found himself opening and performing alongside National acts such as Sebastian Bach from the critically acclaimed 80's band Skid Row, King's X and Skolhamm Asylum featuring Alex Skolnick, Stu Hamm and Joel Taylor. Adam is dedicated to providing a fun and positive experience while encouraging his students to reach their goals.
